Execution capacity

There will always be more good ideas than there is capacity to execute.

Why then do we take on to much, when we know that focus on a few wildly important goals is more productive?

  • Leaders are ambitious and creative and want to do more.
  • You want to hedge your bets.
  • You think it will look better, to your peers and the boss.
  • Good ideas filter in one at a time and they accumulate.
